What is MCS?
Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an organisation that sets the standards for renewable energy technology installers, providing criteria and guidelines that installers must follow.
Since establishing in 2007, MCS has become a mark of quality. Membership to MCS shows that the installer conforms to recognised industry standards, ensuring high quality and compliance in the installers work.
MCS have pioneered the installation of small-scale renewable energy technology across Great Britain, to participate with the crucial role of reducing Britain’s climate emergency and creating a greener environment for the future, with an end goal of having small scale renewables become the norm, to help deliver the government’s commitment to Net Zero carbon emissions.
Installers must become accredited by a registered certification body on behalf of MCS. CG Plumbing & Heating Contractors Ltd, are registered with NICEIC, our registration number is NIC600031, therefore we are MCS certified.
